What do I need to do to sponsor a Skilled Worker?

To sponsor a Skilled Worker, your business must first have a valid sponsor licence. If you don’t have one yet, we can help you apply and get set up. Once licensed, we assist with assigning the Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) to your candidate, ensuring all Home Office requirements are met.

Can my business sponsor a candidate who’s already in the UK?

Yes, if your candidate holds a visa that allows switching to a Skilled Worker Visa or needs to renew one. We’ll assess their eligibility for switching and guide you through any specific requirements for candidates already residing in the UK.

How long does the Skilled Worker Visa application process take?

Applications from outside the UK are processed within 3 weeks while applications from within the UK (for extensions or switching visas) take 8 weeks. Applicants can choose to pay for priority services to expedite the process. Priority processing costs £500 – you’ll get a decision within 5 working days.
